SketchUp Pro

Part  1: Geometric Primitives and Measurement
1. Open SketchUp Pro
2. Choose the Simple Template in feet and inches
3. At the bottom of the Welcome dialog, select Start using SketchUp. It will ask you if you want to update SketchUp Pro...please do not update it!
4. Learn about the features and tools of SketchUp Pro through the tutorials found on MyPLTW, Lesson 2.2. Watch the videos and recreate the actions as shown in the video. Note: there is guidance provided in the lower right of the SketchUp Pro window for each tool that you use.
Refer to the SketchUp Pro reference documents to help you use the software.
At the end of step 10 it will ask you to take a screen capture. Take a Snip-It and save it to Google Docs. This will be titled "SketchUp Pro Part 1."

Part  2: Creating Models with Additive and Subtractive Methods
1. Login to MyPLTW and continue to Step 15-17
Title each "Additive Model" and  "Subtractive Model." Take a Snip-it and save to Google Docs.
2. Answer question 17 in your Engineering Notebook.

Part  3: Creating Puzzle Cube Parts - you will be creating a friend's puzzle cube!
1. Login to MyPLTW and continue to Step 18-20.
2. Title as "________'s Puzzle Part" Take a Snip-it and save to Google Docs.
3. Answer questions to #21 in your Engineering Notebook

Part  4: Challenge! Create a Coffee Cup or Mug
1. Login to MyPLTW and read directly below Part 4- to Step 33.
Title this "(your name)'s Coffe Mug" Snip it, and Save
