Agenda for the Week of 3/5/18-3/9/18

Greetings!

I hope that you all had a wonderful snow day and weekend. As most of you are aware, I am currently in Toronto, hence why the wonderful Mrs. Stevens is filling in for me.

Here is your agenda for Monday 3/5/18

Please be sure to read over the checklist on the back table to see how I will be grading you for this sketching project. Read it carefully!

I am aware where everyone is at in this process (truly!), so please do your best to use your time wisely. Your main priority should be on finishing examples a, b, c, d, and then the mystery object. When you are finished, then create a challenge to share with a friend. You must put your Isometric and Multiviews in your notebook before having a friend try your challenge. In other words, you must be able to do it yourself! Your friend must also put the challenge in their notebook with the different views. You can title these, “My Challenge” and “Friends Challenge” You can replace “friend” with their actual name. If you are not able to get to this, we can chat when I get back.

If you are already finished with the above, you may study for the quiz that we have coming up on Wednesday. Quiz items include;

The steps of the design process
The different types of sketches
Why we sketch
Team jobs when working on a project
Behaviors that positively impact team success (team norms)
Behaviors that negatively impact team success
How views are arranged in a multiview drawing

If you are finished with everything, you can watch any 4 videos on my blog under the ‘Design and Modeling’ tab and fill out the video summary- you can just bullet the main points from the video (please do not write me a book). Glue this sheet into your notebook when complete.

I will be collecting notebooks beginning on Tuesday.
Again, please stay focused. No one should be playing games, Youtubing, Netflixing, and so on. You have plenty to do.

I also offer double participation points when I have guest teachers in my room, so be on your best!

Thanks so much,
Mrs. R.
