For the Week of 9/10/18-9/14/18

Monday- Thursday 9/10/18-9/13/18 

1. Essential Questions & answer in your engineering notebook: 
a. What can patient signs and symptoms tell us about what’s happening in the human body?
b. How do medical detectives investigate their cases?
 c.What does effective teamwork look like?

2. Vocabulary: What are vitals? Review Essential Questions

3. Lesson 1 Intro and video

4. Different measuring tools and stations

6. Complete the temperature reading together and answer questions 1 & 2.

7. Students begin rotations! Do NOT answer any questions yet. 

8. Once finished with a station, analyze and compare your data with your partner and with the average chart provided.

 * Tuesday- Thursday stations will be repeated with different activities for students to complete before taking vitals. 


Friday- 9/14/18 

1. Review lesson 1 Essential Questions

2. Answer all lesson 1 questions with a partner, review as a class. 

3. Begin Lesson 1.2: Essential Questions
     a. What can patient signs and symptoms tell us about what’s happening in the human body?
     b. How do medical detectives investigate their cases?

4. Introduction and using the Experimental Design Process
     a. question 1 and practice sheets

5. Research a question to their Experimental Design

6. Design the experiment to test their hypothesis

7. Carry out the experiment with a partner.

8. Analyze the data and observations, state a conclusion and write a summary,
