Hello folks,
Here is the agenda for the day:
1. With your buddy, plan out your experiment. This means filling out the Experimental Design papers you glued into your notebook on Monday. Yes, you both must do this! Please make sure it is neat and legible! Need help with the steps for completing the procedure? See step 7 on MyPLTW.org. Remember you may have to modify or tweak what they have listed in their steps to fit your needs.
2. Plan out any materials that you may need to bring in tomorrow. If you are getting images, sound, or videos, please ensure they are appropriate! Also, try not to listen/view the images/sound/videos too much. Remember that you want to use them for your experiment, and you don't want to be use to them as they may mess up your results.
Ex: I find a scary video. I watch the video over and over. I no longer am scared of the video. As a
result, my vitals remain the same as my baseline vitals.
3. The Experimental Design Rubric for your slideshow is near the scissors and glue. You many begin creating or setting up your slideshow.
Please do NOT begin your Experimental Design! We will do this on Thursday and I cannot wait to see your experiments in action.
If you finish early, please finish your MyPLTW lesson 1.2 practice problems under Student Resources. Yes, I can see who is finished and who is not. This is also a part of your participation points. Finished with everything? Watch this video on Forensic Science, it is pretty cool.
